Founder crew member of Humber Rescue after several years in the Auxiliary Coast Guard. He has been a film maker and camera man and is now a hotelier.
Dave has over 40 years experience of the River Humber, having spent 5 years as a Pilot apprentice, starting in 1966 and 20 years in the Merchant Navy. He has been a member of Humber Rescue since 1989. Dave started off as crew number 11 and is now crew number 1.
Martin joined in late 1994. He became a trustee in 2005. Despite being the oldest crew member, Martin is still one of the fittest. He is currently employed as a lecturer at Hull College.
Ian joined in 1993. He is employed as a Manufacturing Technician at a local factory. Ian has worked his way through the ranks at Humber Rescue to become the Senior Crewman and Coxswain.
Tony's role with Humber Rescue is to look after the personal protection equipment (ppe). Tony joined in early 2006 and has a passion for boating and the water. He has been a BSAC diver for several years where he gained his diver coxswain award.
Graham joined in September 2006 and is currently employed as an Aerospace Engineer. He has a keen interest in boats and currently restoring a 1943 Naval Launch.
Works for Hull City Council Children and Young People's Services, and has a long list of outdoor qualifications including RYA Power Boat Instructor.
Dave is a keen diver, canoeist, climber and sailor.
Mark is employed as a mobile vehicle mechanic for prestigious cars. He is a boat owner and his family have all been members of Brough Yacht Club. He therefore has a lot of experience of the rivers in the region. He has been a member of Humber Rescue since the early 1990's.
Martin joined the crew in 2004. He is a fully qualified fabrication welder with over 20 years experience. He joined Humber Rescue to put something back into the community. Martin also uses his trade skills within the Humber Rescue organisation.
Mike joined in summer 2006. He grew up with a boating family and a love for the sea.

Joined in 2008 after attending a whale stranding incident with Humber Rescue in his previous capacity as regional coordinator for British Divers Marine Life Rescue. Employed locally as a project manager with an extensive background in ICT.
