Queen's Award Presentation
October 2011
On Saturday 1st October 2011, the crew at Humber Rescue were presented with the Queen's Award 2011 for Voluntary Service. The award was presented by The Hon. Mrs Susan Cunliffe-Lister, the Lord Lieutenant of the East Riding of Yorkshire. The presentation was made at the Humber Rescue Boathouse on Hessle foreshore. Dave Roberts the organisations chairman received the award on behalf of the Crew. Mrs Cunliffe-Lister thanked the crew for all the time and work they put in to keeping the lifeboat station running and wished the organisation every success in the future.
